Barbara is a registered Clinical Psychologist with postgraduate qualifications in both clinical and forensic psychology.

She is an experienced psychologist who has worked in both private and public settings for nearly twenty years. She has gained clinical experience in Aged and Adult Psychiatry, Health and Rehabilitation Psychology, as well as Acute Psychiatry. 


Barbara has extensive training and experience in conducting clinical mental health assessments as well as in providing treatment of a range of DSM-5 disorders, including mood, anxiety, personality, eating, substance-related and adjustment disorders.

Her forensic experience includes conducting comprehensive forensic mental health assessments as well as providing treatment and interventions which reduce the risk of re-offending. Barbara also has a wealth of experience in providing psychological opinions and assistance in legal problems, which includes both criminal and civil law.

Barbara is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), the APS College of Clinical Psychologists as well as an affiliate member of the APS College of Forensic Psychologists. She works with a variety of individuals, in particular adults and older adults. Her approach includes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) as well as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Clinical Hypnosis.
